- Evaluating the Effectiveness of Our Stewardship Ministry (Alan Witham)
Utilize an evaluative tool to determine the strengths and weaknesses of key behaviors needed to have a healthy church stewardship ministry. Resource ideas will be shared to address the key behaviors. - Sunday School Multiplication: Three Critical Issues (Darryl Wilson)
Reach, care for, and mobilize more people as new teachers, leaders and classes are launched. - Empowering Parents (John Bennett)
There is no question that parents are the greatest influence in a child’s spiritual development. This session will focus on a very simple and fun strategy to empower parents to fulfill their role as spiritual leaders in their home.
Meet our Speakers
Alan Witham: Alan serves as Team Leader of the Church Development Team. He assists churches in developing effective stewardship strategies that foster increasing levels of church health. |
Glen Cummins: Glen joined the KBC in 2004 after serving for 20 years as Minister of Education at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington. He serves Kentucky Baptists as a Church Development Strategist in North Central Kentucky. Glen lives in Lexington with his wife Nancy. |
Ronnie Sivells: Ronnie joined the KBC in 2004 after serving as pastor of three Kentucky churches and spending six years as a Vocational Evangelist. He presently serves Kentucky Baptists as Church Development Strategist for Western Kentucky. Ronnie lives in Princeton with his wife Sandy. |
Darryl Wilson: As a former Minister of Education and now as Director of the Sunday School department for the KBC, Darryl brings 27 years of experience as a Sunday School practitioner, consultant, trainer and author. |
Mike James: After years of serving as a pastor, Mike joined the KBC staff in 2008 as Church Development Strategist for Eastern Kentucky. In January of 2009 he became the Strategist for South Central Kentucky and also assumed responsibilities for the areas of Discipleship, Assimilation and Deacon Ministry. |
Joe Ball: Bringing 25+ years experience working with teenagers and as the father of two young adult children (proof that there is life after raising teenagers), Joe is an author, conference leader, and speaker. A Kentucky native, Joe serves as NAMB Missionary in youth evangelism and as Director of the Youth Ministry Department for the KBC. |
John Bennett: Now serving the KBC as Director of Preschool/Children Department, John previously served as a Children and Family Minister for 18 years in some of the premier churches across Kentucky. No matter what size your church is, John brings a comprehensive and passionate understanding of what is involved in establishing an effective and high impact Children and Family Ministry. |
Registration
$10 per person with a maximum of $50 per church
