Go Africa
Go! Africa is a one-year focus on the Southeast African countries of Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Zambia. This initiative empowers churches with little or no previous experience in international missions to be involved in Great Commission service!
Participants will help meet immediate needs of the people in the region and develop ongoing ministry relationships. Above all, Kentucky Baptists will be sharing the gospel and the love of Christ with people who perhaps have never heard His name before.
Projects will include:
- Evangelism
- Discipleship
- Church Planting
- Construction
- Disaster Relief
- Seminary Education
Among the Go! Africa projects is the ongoing renovation of Sanyati Baptist Hospital in Zimbabwe!
Go! Africa is a partnership endeavor of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, International Mission Board and Baptist Global Response.
How We Can Help
What are the benefits of serving through the Kentucky Baptist Convention Partnership Missions Department?
KBC can save you time and money by:
- Researching ministry opportunities
- Making initial contacts with IMB personnel
- Handling logistics such as passport/visa requirements, in-country transportation, accommodations
- Organizing missions activities that are ready for you to plug into
- Assuming some of the costs associated with setting up a ministry partnership
The KBC Partnership Missions Department provides these and other services to churches because of Kentucky Baptists’ gifts through the Cooperative Program.
