Description: Need equipped teams of medical professionals who can help us have outreaches in needy areas and communities of Zambia. These outreaches can be awareness building, diagnostic with consultation, and or hands on provision of services.

Qualifications:You must be an active member of a Kentucky Baptist Convention church. You must be no younger than a rising junior in high-school. If you are older than 69 you must have medical clearance from a physician. You must be physically able to perform the duties of your project, including walking reasonable distances and carrying your own luggage. You must exemplify the spirit of Christ and be able to share a verbal witness

Location: Zambia

Number of teams and volunteers: Open. Dates: Open. Lodging: In Lusaka: Baptist Guest House, $8.00 pp per night, Outside Lusaka: Guest house $40-$60 pp double occupancy or Comfort camping in tents. Family style tents with standing room, cot or air mattress, propane and grill cooking, LED or propane lights. Team may need to bring some sleeping bags and minor accessories. Only costs will be food and possible cost for specific accessories for camping. Volunteers doing medical work here have to meet specific requirements such as forwarding a copy/scan of their credentials and pay a fee (over $150.00 at this point) to get approved to do medical work on Zambians. With each team we can forward the info on the amount at that time as we are working to get these waived or reduced.
