How effective is your church in making disciples? One effective method is TruthWorx, an intentional, relational, disciple-making, small-group strategy that utilizes storying to communicate the truth of Scripture.
TruthWorx is an initiative of the Kentucky Baptist Convention that provides churches, Sunday school classes and other ministries with training and resources to make disciples like Jesus did, in a relational, small-group setting.
The TruthWorx strategy seeks to address the challenges we face as disciple makers: biblical illiteracy, fewer people with literary learning preferences, and the growth of non-Christian religions.
Bible Storying is a tried-and-true method that communicates biblical truths effectively. As listeners become engaged in the narratives they become more excited about the message. The process has helped Christians who do not like to read become active disciples of Christ, eager to share His good news.
