March Madness lunch details

Attendees to this year's March Madness event on Thursday, March 17 now have the option of purchasing lunch for $5 per person. Lunch will include:
  • Selections from a Jason's Deli traditional sandwich tray (turkey, ham, roast beef, tuna, and chicken salad on various breads)
  • Chips and salsa
  • Meatballs

Popcorn, desserts and beverages will be provided to all attendees at no cost.

If interested in being included in the $5 lunch option, please forward exact cash or a personal check (made payable to the Kentucky Baptist Convention) to Denise Withers in the Communications Department by Monday, March 14. Your lunch option reservation will not be complete until payment has been received.

Basic training...in the Baptist Building?

Basic Training Journey, classes for church planters and/or church plant sponsors, will occur at the Kentucky Baptist Building today through Saturday in Chapels A-B and Room 174. Classes will be in both Spanish and English.

NCAA Tournament Brackets

Due to new tournament game changes and time involved in re-formatting, the NCAA tournament brackets will be not be available on the Lotus Notes bulletin board. However, CBS, Yahoo, and ESPN usually provide free services for tournament bracket management. You can also print free brackets from various web sites.

March Madness - Thursday, March 17

Begins at 11:45 a.m. - Chapels A-C

Chapels A-B - Lunch (11:45 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.) and CBS coverage of games

Chapel C - Game Room
- Other types of games are planned for those not interested in watching televised tournament games.

Reminder: Staff Worship and Refreshments

Ronny Raines, pastor of Cold Spring First Baptist Church, will lead in Staff Worship this morning beginning at 9:00 in Chapel B. Hospitality Services will serve refreshments in the hall behind the main kitchen immediately following.

B-Lines: Changes coming

Beginning Tuesday, March 1, subscribers will see a few changes to B-Lines, the Kentucky Baptist Building employee news blog. The blog transitions to a new design and a Word Press format.

Current subscribers to B-Lines, which includes over 100 staff and family members, will see their service continued through the March 1 transition.
