Need:
1. Join Refuge Bowling Green for an interactive day, afternoon, or weekend exploring different cultural experiences in their city. Learn about other cultures and religions. Experience foods from other countries. Shop at an international market. Experience what living as a refugee feels like.
Serve the refugee community in the name of Jesus. Share the Gospel. Leave with tools to serve the marginalized in your own community.
Itineraries can be customized to meet the needs of your group.
These projects are flexible, based in large part on the needs and interests of the group. The projects are not strictly need-oriented in that Refuge Bowling Green is not wanting groups just to come fill a need, but to see and explore the ministry for themselves. In that sense, think of them like a cross between a service project and a vision trip.
2. Join Refuge Bowling Green as they end their summer soccer club season with a tournament. They welcome churches to come and assist with coaching, Bible stories, food preparation, and spending time with the children and youth.
