VERSAILLES–Versailles Baptist Church will be hosting Crosslife University on Aug. 7 from 8:30 a.m-4 p.m. Crosslife is an apologetics conference in a “give me an answer” style format that is intended to equip youth before school begins again.
Speakers for the conference include Timothy Paul Jones, associate vice president at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; Matthew Spandler-Davison, pastor of Redeemer Fellowship Church in Bardstown; and Todd Thomas, worship and college pastor at Center Point Church in Lexington.
Additionally, there will be several breakout leaders from churches such as Ashland Avenue and Porter Memorial and The Gospel Coalition writer.
The focus for this year’s conference is defending scripture, and the question and answer portion of the main sessions and electives will answers questions such as: Why should I trust the Bible? Does the Bible contradict itself? Does the Bible really teach Jesus is the only way to get to God? What are the most common scriptures that get twisted or abused? and many more.
