Cheryl Frerman joined the KBC in 2006 as Ministry Assistant for the Sunday School and Discipleship department. Since 2012, she has served as the Team Ministry Assistant for the Church Consulting and Revitalization Team. Cheryl earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Transylvania University. In 1989, she received her master’s in business administration from the University of Louisville. Upon graduation from college, Cheryl worked as a computer programmer, and later as an information technology manager, at Humana. Prior to joining the KBC, Cheryl served part-time as ministry assistant at Ballardsville Baptist Church.
How Cheryl helps churches:
In her current role, Cheryl assists Steve Rice, Church Revitalization and Consulting Team Leader as well as serving as liaison to ministry assistants / church secretaries throughout Kentucky Baptist churches. Cheryl also serves churches by organizing training events and retreats including Shepherding, Equip and the annual Ministry Assistants Workshop. In 2018, she also assumed the role of Annual Meeting Coordinator.
