Ian Carrico serves the churches of the Kentucky Baptist Convention as the Regional Consultant for the West Region. He also previously served as a Church Evangelism Associate with the KBC until December of 2023. Before serving with the KBC, Ian served as pastor in 3 different churches in Kentucky and Missouri, including Beulah Baptist Church in Fancy Farm, KY, for 10 years. Ian received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies from Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, KY, and earned Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Ian has been happily married to Joni since 2003 and they have 4 boys; Elijah, Levi, Silas, and Joel Boone. They currently reside in Hickory, Kentucky. Ian enjoys running and has run 6 marathons.
How Ian helps churches:
Because of the Cooperative Program, Ian has the honor to serve Kentucky Baptist Associations, Kentucky Baptist Churches, and their leadership. Ian serves the pastors and churches of western Kentucky by providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and counsel. He travels across the region providing training for deacon ministry, church security, leadership development, training pastor search teams, facility usage study, capital campaigns, and other needed trainings.
