Rob Patterson serves as the Leader of the Evangelism Team and has been with the Kentucky Baptist Convention since 2017. He is incredibly passionate about helping churches reach Kentucky and the world for Christ. Previously he served as a Team Strategy Leader for the International Mission Board, SBC, planting multiplying churches among people groups in the Amazon Basin. He also has experience serving churches in Kentucky and Tennessee. A graduate of Carson Newman University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, he is a contributing author to works such as Lead to Revitalize, For the Kingdom’s Sake, and the Sunday School How To Manual. He is the incredibly blessed husband of Jenny, who has been his helpmate in ministry for over thirty years, and they are the proud parents of Hannah and Haley Grace. When not discipling others to become fishers of men, there is nothing Rob enjoys more than fishing or being outdoors with friends and family.
How Rob helps churches:
Rob leads a team committed to helping churches fulfill the “reach Kentucky” mandate of our larger mission through Baptist Campus Ministry, Church Planting, Evangelism Strategies, and Multi Language Ministries. He loves helping churches access their current reality and to develop a MAP for reaching their local communities. Beyond statewide evangelism training events and initiatives such as the Gospel to Every Home, he also invests into pastors through networks, learning cohorts, and by coordinating the Bivocational Pastors & Wives Retreat. He maintains an active preaching schedule and would be honored to speak at your church, associational, or community outreach event.
